Welcome to the City of Moncton / Ville de Moncton Bid Opportunities Website

Vendors interested in doing business with the City of Moncton and responding to bid opportunities are encouraged to create a Vendor Account through the “bids&tenders” platform, which is available free of charge.  Bidding opportunities issued by the City of Moncton are also advertised on the New Brunswick Opportunities Network, in compliance with the NB Procurement Act.

Vendors are not required to create an account on the “bids&tenders” platform to view the current list of bidding opportunities.  However, a Vendor account must be created in order to preview available bid documents, register as an official “Plan Taker” for a bidding opportunity, receive automated notifications concerning a selected bidding opportunity, and submit an electronic bid response.

For step by step instructions on how to create a Vendor Account, please refer to the “bids&tenders” Vendor Guide, or the City of Moncton’s website.   As part of the “bids&tenders” account registration process, it’s important for Vendors to:

  • Carefully review and select all categories of goods and services that apply to their business when setting up their account
  • Maintain and update their Vendor account information to ensure it is kept current

Vendors can register up to a maximum of ten (10) representatives from their organization to receive access to the many features, functions, and automated notifications available through the “bids&tenders” platform.

All registered “Plan Takers” for a bidding opportunity will have the ability to submit questions concerning the bid directly to the designated Procurement Officer, and can also manage, monitor, revise, save,  and submit their active bid responses, or withdraw their bid, through their personalized Vendor Management dashboard, prior to the official Closing Date.

The official list of all “Plan Takers” for each bidding opportunity is available through the “bids&tenders” platform, and all registered “Plan Takers” will receive automated e-mail notifications if a bidding opportunity is amended by the Procurement Officer at any point in time.

Unofficial bid results and award information will be published to the City of Moncton’s “bids&tenders” website, as well as the New Brunswick Opportunities Network.
