The City of Moncton is seeking bids from qualified manufacturers and/or authorized distributors for the supply and delivery of cold water meters on an “as required” basis. This procurement supports the City’s water meter replacement program, new residential development, and ongoing maintenance of municipal and utility-owned assets.

The City is standardizing on solid-state (ultrasonic and electromagnetic) cold water meters to ensure compatibility with its existing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and wireless meter reading system. All meters must be fully compatible with the City’s current meter data collection system and approved communication protocol.

Only the makes and models specified in the tender document will be considered. Submissions must comply with all applicable AWWA standards and technical requirements outlined in the solicitation.
