The work consists generally of reconstructing approximately 3040 meters of tailings trail (including new trail access - 70 meters), and 27 meters asphalt section.  The work includes removal of existing culverts, culvert extensions,  installation of retaining walls, crushed rock and tailings, adjustment of sanitary manhole lids, approximately 630 meters of guardrail, new and relocation of benches and waste receptacles, installation of wayfinding signage,  topsoil and hydroseed, removal and replacement of an existing boardwalk bridge.
