SCOPE OF WORK
The work generally consists of resurfacing of the following streets: Sunshine Drive, Russ Howard Drive, Vaughan Harvey Boulevard, and Myles Avenue including few local repairs. The work also includes traffic calming work to be completed on Purdy Avenue, and a Pavement Preservation component.
 

Sunshine Drive
The work consists of milling 50mm and resurfacing of Sunshine Drive from Mountain Road to Muirfield Drive. The work also consists of crack milling and local repairs.
 

Russ Howard Drive
The work consists of milling 50mm and resurfacing of Russ Howard Drive from the Killam Drive Roundabout, including the roundabout, to Millenium Boulevard. The work also consists of crack milling and local repairs.
 

Vaughan Harvey Boulevard
The work consists of milling 50mm and resurfacing of Vaughan Harvey Boulevard from Mountain Road to Collishaw Street. The work also consists of crack milling and local repairs.
 

Myles Avenue
The work consists of milling 40mm and resurfacing of Myles Avenue from Jones Street to High Street. The work also consists of crack milling and local repairs.
 

Purdy Avenue
The work consists of the installation of a raised intersection and speed cushions, for traffic calming purposes.

Pavement Preservation:
The pavement preservation work involves, but is not limited to, milling of marked areas to a depth of 50 mm, clean-up of milled area, applying tack coat uniformly on the entire surface of the milled area and full width paving of milled area with asphalt Type “D” – PG 58H-28. The areas to be milled and overlay will vary in sizes. The number of locations to be milled per street will be determined prior to start of Contract by
City of Moncton inspector and/or engineer. The pavement preservation work will be on collector and arterial roads and will involve work in intersections.
